What usually does not require a correction note

Minor spelling, punctuation, formatting, broken-link or style fixes can normally be made without a formal correction note when they do not change the meaning. Routine updates to a developing story may also be incorporated as new information becomes available.

How we review requests

We encourage readers to verify time-sensitive details through official sources. When we learn that a practical detail has materially changed, we aim to update the guide rather than leave information known to be stale.
